Revolutionizing the American Family and Making Friends with the Other Side

20 Feb

Small businesses run by parents have exploded in the last 2 years, and there are a ton of books and websites popping up all over the place on the subject. But the thing that sets This Little Parent Stayed Home apart from the rest is that it speaks to ALL parents, and both genders. I don’t mean to criticize the motivational movements that are empowering women, but very often it seems as though it is done in a way that puts blame on the men. In fact, every where I look there are groups that aim to empower and inspire, but they end up counter actively segregating themselves with mass amounts of finger pointing and blaming some other group. There is division everywhere we look. It begs for us to examine more closely if we are really as divided as we think we are.

This show will begin the discussion of all the things we try to avoid at parties. Politics, Religion, Marriage, Gender issues, and big business vs. small business. This show will not attempt to persuade you into joining into any group over another, but will encourage you to adopt the viewpoints that make sense for our productivity and our common goals as parents. We’ll begin with encouraging you to make a conscious decision that will open and expand your minds and your hearts, by letting go of assumptions, and societal misconceptions of what the ideal family situation should be.

We’ll be celebrating the fathers who are staying at home while the mothers go earn the larger salary, and exploring all the ways that families can work together to bring one parent home. Stay at home father, *Chris Mancini will be joining us as a guest to talk about how his family achieves this result, and how he is still able to use his skills to earn a supplemental income for his family.

I am looking forward to pouring another glass of wine and chatting with you this week  See you on Friday!

Kindest Regards,
